online fundraisers happening NOW!

My inbox is absolutely full of requests to help families who are fundraising for an adoption.

I have such a heart for these families!  We have been there, done that!  Raising the RANSOM to bring our children home from faraway places takes a huge amount of courage, strength, and determination to NOT give up when the going gets tough!  Raising money to rescue our adopted children tested my faith more than anything else ever has in my life.

Some days we wondered where in the world the money would come from to pay the next bill.

By the grace of God...it always did!

I have such a deep respect for families who step out in faith and trust the Father for every dollar they need to adopt their children.  I have an even deeper admiration for those families who pour their hearts into their fundraising efforts.  It's HARD!  With all my heart, I understand that.  Months and months of thinking of new ways to try and raise a few hundred dollars here and there becomes so tiring, so emotionally exhausting.

But a parent never gives up on their child!  They keep on keeping on until the day comes when their sweet lovie is finally in their arms...and God has been victorious!

Adoption fundraising requires an enormous amount of effort.  My heart is so toward those families who try so hard and who work with all their hearts to raise money. It's true--God loves to bless the work of our hands--but that sure does not mean it will be easy.

I would love to try and help these sweet families out a little.  Today, I thought I would add a linky where families who CURRENTLY have a fundraiser happening can add their details and then together we, the glorious body of Christ, can spread the word and help them by sharing their fundraisers!

I need every family who has an online fundraiser happening right now to link up on the list below.

Please, the only thing I ask is that your fundraiser is happening right now. And it must be an online fundraiser that we can all help you with.  ONE fundraiser per family, please.

Once the list is up and running, I need you wonderful readers to please help me to spread the word so that we can get as much support as possible for these amazing families!  Simply share the list anywhere you possibly can.

With Christmas fast approaching, this is the perfect time to bid on some cute things on auction, buy a piece of jewelry, or donate to someone's adoption to be in line to win something up for grabs.  Get some sweet things AND help a family who is working hard to rescue a child.  Win-win!

If you are adding your fundraiser, please be sure to link to your fundraising page/blog.  You will be able to give a short description of your fundraiser--please be specific.  Thanks!

Praying for you all today!  May the Lord provide every dollar you still need.  He is ABLE!

Thank you so much!!! There wasnt room to write a lot so I wanted to let you know the spaghetti dinner is online and in person. If you cant make it in person you can pay 5.00 and your meal will go to a homeless person in Ft Worth Texas. After the dinner my family and I will go down town and pass out the hot meals, dessert and drinks to the homeless. There are over 150 homeless on the streets down there every night. We are praying for at least 150 meals. Not only does the meal help a homeless person but also goes toward the ransom of our 2 Bulgarian princes in Pleven. Thank you so much. Praying that every single person who links up and who supports all of us is blessed beyond measure. "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38.

Be blessed
Ashlee

I would love to tell you about the non-profit we started called www.youradoptshop.org. It is a central shopping website for adoptive families to sell items to help fundraise for their adoptions. 100% of the money goes directly to the family. There are no fees taken out. Our prayer is that this is a blessing to many. Our hope is that people shop at Your Adopt Shop for gifts they need to buy or maybe even find something special for themselves! We also have a facebook page and we would love if you could help spread the word!

Blessings,
Amy

Thanks Adeye! Mabel is 7 1/2 and weighs barely 20lbs, we're praying hard that we can make the cutoff before winter shutdown!

I tried putting up the auction for The Rowe Family that I am hosting for them on facebook but I dont think the link worked right:( They are currently in country and their referral today and get to go see their two new teenagers Wednesday. They just adopted two younger children with special needs in May from this same country and are now returning. They are not fully funded, about two weeks ago they found out their son who them adopted in May has Leukemia.
I also linked to my fundraiser for my two children that I am in process to adopt from the same country, my daughter is in the same orphanage as The Rowe's children and they met my son last year while adopting their other two kids.

Check out this family's fundraiser as well!  They are giving away a Kindle Fire and are having so much trouble getting the word out!  http://ourlilladybugs.blogspot.com/

I was having internet difficulty last night and couldn't get the linky to work. )-: If anyone wants to visit our blog to follow along or help us get our son-to-be home, please feel free to visit. We're at http://ourfamilysescapades.blogspot.com and right now we're having an awesome fundraising giveaway. We could really use your help. The child we're adopting has a life threatening genetic condition that is incredibly rare and he needs to get home to love, family and medical care asap. Our process will likely be expedited because of his condition and needs so we don't have a ton of fundraising time. If you can help, we'd be honored. Thank you.
