Wonderful news!

On Thursday we received wonderful news....a letter from the Chinese Government confirming that we do indeed still want to adopt Haven. Of course we do!!!!! This letter came a little earlier than we expected. We think that because Haven has been waiting over three years for a family, they sped it up a little. So, we will sign the letter today and send it back to China ASAP. This will give us a July travel date. Wow! We are getting so much closer to finally bringing Haven home.
Please pray with us, we still need about $6000,00! Yikes, it seems like such a lot of money, but yet, to the Lord it is easy. We have applied for grants and are still waiting to hear. That would be a HUGE help if we got them.
Oh..the the huge picture of Haven with us in the photo? We are having a yard sale to raise money for Haven's adoption next Saturday. Anthony thought it would be a good idea to blow up one of her photos and have it at the yard sale, so that poeple can see what we are raising money for! We are not pricing any of the items we are selling, it is all by donation, so people may like to see where their donation goes. We took a photo of us with Haven to send to her. I have framed it and am sending it to her in the orphanage..anything to let her know that she is so loved and treasured. Thank you Lord Jesus for your beautiful blessing of this child!

Welcome to our new family blog! Living in the USA and having friends and family spread out all around the world, I thought it would be a great idea to have a place where everyone can keep up with our lives. I am so bad at e-mailing photos to everyone, so I figured this may be a better way for me to try and keep everyone updated. So, I am hoping this will be a place where we share about our our daily lives, thoughts and happenings in the world of adoption...and anything else that God sends our way.
