My goodness, your girls are advancing through school studies at an amazing rate! :) I always tell my littles not to "help" their big brothers too much! So sweet to see the boys working while lovin' on their sisters.
That just Squeezed my heart...like a big warm Hug! I love how your sons love their little sisters! And, can I just say how CUTE is Hailees new haircut!! Oh my, she looks like a doll! And, Harper is rocking some pretty cute shorter bangs, as well! If ever a Miracle needs to be witnessed, come here and see it with your own eyes! I DO, every time I come to hear (and see) the Good News! =D Love to All of you! Jo
Well, very sweet... But do you really think that your son can learn like this? Learn the things he has to learn exept loving and caring for his sisters (what he is already perfect in)?
I was just singing that song in the van with my little girls from the verse you mentioned... This is the day this is the day {echo} That the Lord hath made that the Lord hath made {echo} I will rejoice I will rejoice {echo} And be glad in it and be glad in it {echo}. :)
I just came across your blog a few days ago, and i have to say your family is beautiful. I cannot believe how far Hailee has come in just a few months. You inspire me.
How adorable. When I read your blog I want to homeschool. But my daughter is an only child and I think she would get lonely:) I think Hailee's eyes look good...here's hoping it was a success! Lisa V
And to the anonymous poster who asked if she thought her older children can really learn like this - I'm sure it's not any more of a distraction than having 30 classmates in the same room would be :o) And this is coming from someone who's children go to public schools...but my children also have siblings hanging around while they do their homework and everybody does just fine.
I just love your blog and your precious family! As I read through the other comments, I stopped short. Why on earth would such a coward as the anonymous commenter above take the time to spread hate and condemnation when you are SO all about spreading love? I am sorry that you had to read that today.
Adeye...it is absolutely amazing (not to mention tear-jerking!!) to see the difference in these two little lovies! Hailee, in particular, does not even LOOK like the same child. Honestly, she doesn't!!! She is FULL of life, curiosity and joy! It is in her eyes, in her face, in her very demeanor. I cannot TELL you how happy I am for you all! Such HUGE rewards, such blessing...so much baby love! :)
Just had to comment on the "anonymous" comment ...
Oh my! She really has no clue. It is AMAZING the things our kids can learn, even when they are not sitting at their own individual desks in perfect silence.
I'm sure your little guy isn't sitting like this during ALL of his school work, but I'm also sure that he IS learning whatever he might be studying on the computer.
And ... there is a LOT more to learning than just academics. As a homeschooling mama for 20+ years, one of my greatest joys in teaching my children at home, is to have the opportunity for them to have WONDERFUL relationships with all of their brothers and sisters. This "lesson" is invaluable.
Hi Adeye, I am unable to contact you by email, so wanted to share a "you tube" video with you. It is so beautiful and reminds me of your precious little girls and the big brother, who loves them so. It is called Bruno Mars-Just The Way YOU Are. sorry, i am not very computer literate and didn't know how to share this with you any other way.from mm, vancouver, wa. :o)
You have the most precious children Adeye. Your boys absolutely amaze me. They carry your heart! So glad that I also got to sit at that table and get to know each of your darlings. Been thinking about you so much and missing you all. Jan
hello! it seems like forever since I've been able to catch up on YOUR end;) I LOVE the pics of the older boys being so loving to their little sisters;) Harpers faces crack me up!! My gage is a face maker as well..LOVE IT! So much of what you said about the gospel being watered down, and living our lives for God's purposes only...SOO right on. And exactly where we are striving to be. God makes it so easy for us, and we make it so hard;) I love you! I wish I could write more...but I need to get back up to our room...I think dan is missing me. haha only wifi in the restaurant;) Tammy http://dziagwaincrease.wordpress.com
that last picture just made me cry (or maybe it was the storytelling culmination of them altogether). you are blessed. thank you for sharing your life with us.
Just look at those doll babies with their big brothers! I know your heart just fills to overflowing when you see them caring for Hailee and Harper in such tender ways!
You and your little girls were the stars of my last post (until I now just updated it a few minutes ago.) (hint, hint-ha ha!)
I love these sweet pics of your family. May you continue to walk in His immense blessing of family daily. Praying the orphanage where your girls waited for you is but a fading memory for them as you surround them with love.
Blessed daughter of the King of Kings, wife to the most amazing man in the world and mommy to nine sharp arrows. Three sons the good old fashioned way, two special needs princesses from China, and our most recent adoptions--two angelic treasures with Down syndrome from Ukraine. We are in the process of bringing home two more beautiful children who so desperately needs to be rescued--you can read Hasya's story here and Kael's story here. We're a crazy about Jesus, learning daily about total surrender, mountain dwelling, passionate about adoption, home schooling family. On these pages I share my passions, my heart, my victories, my struggles, and my daily life. This is my unfolding story.
