3/21 Down syndrome: Three copies of chromosome 21 instead of the usual two copies.

They fill our hearts with joy indescribable.

They remind us to laugh more and let the small stuff go.

They make our lives so, so much sweeter than we could ever imagine possible.

They teach us how to slow down and savor the moments and the memories made along the way.

They have been our greatest teachers.

Teaching us about the value of life. ALL life.

Today, we count our blessings and we name them one by one by one.

Each of these three treasures with an extra chromosome added to us is a precious GIFT straight from the heart of God…

And into our family.

Today, we are so thankful that God chose us.

No words can ever express our gratitude.
