Friends—we so desperately need your prayers today, please.
The last 24 hours have been so tough. We have run into unforeseen mountains that stand before us, having us believe that there is no way we can possibly bring Hailee home. It seems as if it is going to take miracle.
Here’s the thing-we believe in miracles. We believe that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. We believe that the miracles of the Bible are the same miracles He performs today. We believe.
We are walking by faith and not by sight. We’re standing on the promises of God-trusting that He will make a way through all the red tape we are dealing with. A tiny little girl is lying in a crib in Eastern Europe-waiting, waiting waiting for a family. She will surely die if no-one comes. My heart is breaking.
Please pray that we can find a way. Any way. There absolutely has to be a way to bring her home. We’re seeking with all our hearts, trusting God to lead us to the right people who may be able to help.
I’ll share more later. Just know that there is a battle raging. A battle for a little girls life. We can choose to say, “Oh no, this can never work out for us, there are too many things against us.” Or, we can choose to rise up with faith in our hearts and fight for this child. That’s exactly what we’re doing.
If anyone reading this knows of a knowledgeable adoption lawyer who would be willing to speak to me, please can you pass their details on to me via e-mail? [email protected]. I need some advice ASAP.

Listen Sister, you have been on my heart, what you guys are going forward with is just so incredible to me. We will keep praying, and asking others to pray. I have a good adoption attorney, but he is in Oregon and I don’t think would be able to help. If you want, let me know and I can contact him, or you could.
Last night we heard something that was such a blessing. It was from Joshua 21 (yes, we have been going through Joshua at church!)
The last verses talk about the fulfillment of the PROMISE, the promise that took YEARS AND YEARS to fulfill. It says that the Lord gave them ALL that He had sworn to give them and they (the Children of Israel) took POSSESSION of it, I thought that was cool. Then He gave them rest, and not ONE of their enemies stood against them, NOT ONE!
And the 45th verse- Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.

Oh sweet friend! I will begin praying with fervor right away. The enemy will do all he can to prevent orphans from finding their forever families…families who love and glorify Christ.

Iam sorry I do not know a lawyer, but I do know how to pray. So praying I am! Hang in there.

On my knees for you and Hailee, asking that He not just move the mountains that are in your path, but completely dissolve them. Yes, He is the same God so able to preform miracles. I am with you petitioning our Lord to move on Hailee’s behalf. Hang in there friend, stay strong in faith!!

Good morning. The song “If you say Go” came on this morning and I remembered that you wrote a post about it several months back.

Praying for your mountains to be moved, sweet friend. Sometimes satan puts up such a fight to keep orphans in bondage. If God means for you to be this child’s mommy, He WILL move those mountains.

I “stumbled” on your blog today for a reason… Our family will definitely be keeping yours and Hailee in prayer! My little Sera did not talk either and had incorrect labels too. Time and love do change the pain from the past! I will eagrely be checking here for new updates!
