Hello from Virginia.
It sounds so good to finally be able to say that we are in our home state. After a long drive yesterday, we eventually arrived in VA. Today we have a short two hour drive and then we’ll be HOME! To say that I can hardly wait is an understatement. For those of you who have e-mailed me and asked, yes, we did used to live here-and now the Lord has brought us back. More about that later.
Okay, so I have been exceedingly blessed in my life-I have traveled the world and seen over thirty countries. Yesterday I saw beauty that is definitely up there on my list of most stunning places in the world-West Virginia. Oh my goodness, the Appalachian’s are spectacular, absolutely breathtaking! I marvelled at Father God’s creativity as we drove along-and to think that He did it all just for our pleasure and enjoyment is amazing to me. What a God of wonders we serve.
I wanted to stop in here quickly before we hit the road for the final leg of our journey and share with you a little about Hailee and the things we are witnessing. Goodness gracious, we are so amazed at how our little sweetness is blossoming before our eyes. We always knew that inside her teeny, tiny, malnourished body was little girl just waiting to blossom.
Isn’t she just as beautiful as can be? Her hair is even starting to grow a little. I look at this picture and can already see how Hailee is changing-in such a short period of time. It has only been three weeks since I took them out of the orphanage in the Ukraine.
Since the first time we saw Hailee’s picture, we knew that adopting this precious little girl would be like adopting a baby. We knew that her needs and delays were significant, and that she would have to be taught like a baby. But we also felt certain that most of her profound delays were not due to her Down syndrome, but simply from sheer neglect.
~~~ All Hailee ate in the orphanage was porridge (morning and evening) and some sort of mushy soup stuff for lunch. That’s it. No variety at all. The same food day in and day out. It’s no wonder she only weighs sixteen pounds at five years old, she has had no nutrition at all. When we got home I had to feed her baby food, she was just not interested in anything solid. If I tried to put anything hard in her mouth she literally spat it out. She had no idea what solid food even was, let alone how to chew it. A couple of days ago I thought I would try solid food again. I was feeding Harper some pasta and offered Hailee a spoonful. You know what? She actually took it. She mashed it between her teeth and tried to break it up in her mouth. She did it. Before I knew it, she was opening her little mouth like a bird and wanting more, more, more. She has been pretty adventurous with trying new foods ever since. This is HUGE for her. Victory!
~~~ In the orphanage all the kids are fed by spoon. That’s all they know. Harper has not struggled with it, but Hailee has NOT let us put anything in her mouth from our hands. I even had to put tiny pieces of bread on a spoon in order for her to take it. She has turned her head the other way every time we have tried to offer her something to eat if we’re holding it. But that has also changed. She allowed me to do it once (okay, so I bribed her with a piece of cake), and that was that. No more having to load spoons with anything and everything in order for her to actually eat it.
~~~ Bath time is no longer the complete nightmare that it has been. Oh my word-you would have sworn she was getting the worst punishment known to man the way she screamed and stiffened her little body every time I bathed her. These angels had clearly never been bathed in their lives. Thankfully, the tears and screams have faded and she is actually starting to relax a little in the bath tub. Hallelujah.
~~~ The car seat is definitely becoming less of a drama.
~~~ The feel of grass is not so scary anymore.
~~~ Her wounds behind her ears are slowly starting to heal. The one is almost completely healed, and the other is looking so much better. We still have to keep the little pilot hats on her to prevent her from scratching. Hopefully soon she will no longer feel the need to scratch there until it is raw and bleeding. We’re praying that every institutional behavior will be gone forever, in the name of Jesus!
~~~ She laughs! Oh my does she love to laugh. I’m talking giggling that comes all the time when we do silly things to her. It’s like music to our ears.
HOPE!
There is such HOPE for each and every child-no matter how delayed or severe their special needs are. Every child has the ability to learn and grow, all they need is a family to love them and help them reach their full potential. It’s just that simple.
This is only the beginning for our darling Hailee, her healing has just begun. I can hardly wait to share more with you as time goes by and she continues to amaze us.
Thank you for journeying with me, friends. Thank you for rejoicing with me when the victories are sweet, and for pointing me toward Jesus when things feel overwhelming. I appreciate it more than you will ever know.
For now, it’s time to pack the car, load up the troops, and take one last journey to complete our marathon trip across state.
In His amazing grace.
So beautiful…Praise the Lord for HOPE! Praying for your sweet family, what an amazing Testimony you all have!!! Praise Jesus!
I am so happy to hear that she laughs!!! Three weeks and such a change…shows that all kids need families!!!!!! I hope you get settled in quicky in your new home!
Lisa V ( fellow adoptive Mom)
What a difference in her little face…rounder, more color, a little more hair, and just more alert. Amazing how far she has come in just a few weeks. It never ceases to amaze me the miracles God can do through those who trust and obey Him. Praying for a smooth, final travel day and that you are soon settled into your new home.
Oh wow, the difference in her picture is wonderful and amazing. Praise God - He is such an amazing God. Love Janelle
Oh my Adeye!!!! What a complete blessing!! As I ead this post with tears streaming down my face, I am thanking God for all that He has done for your sweet angel girl! I cannot wait to see what blessings she and her sister will bring to your lives!!!
so inspiring
So awesome! And she looks like she is gaining weight too! Her cheeks are already filling in! Love you dearly and continue to pray for you and your two beautiful treasures!
Absolutely amazing and miraculous news about Hailee! I stand in awe of our Mighty God who transforms with His love in a way only He can do.
Can’t wait to see pics of your new home!
Wooo! So happy for Hailee!! You totally made my day when you said that she is laughing and giggling!! And as a mom to a little one who wouldn’t eat any food with texture for over a year, I can tell you that Hailee’s acceptance of solid food is miraculous! Yay, God!!
I can’t believe how your sweet girl has changed. She was always beautiful, but now she glows! She doesn’t look like a starving orphan, but someone’s cherished daughter. Praise God!
Welcome back to VA!!! So glad you are here and safe. Can’t wait to hear more. What a gift you have been given.
Blessings
Oh my goodness, that is WONDERFUL NEWS, wow, we serve an amazing GOD. I noticed in your other update, there was a change in Hailee and now it is really obvious in your update today. Her little cheeks are looking a little fuller..and she is alert. Totally AMAZING transformations.
So glad your are almost at your destination.
Wow, I can’t believe how much she has changed in 3 weeks!
Absolutely Wonderful !! I think we are living parallel lives ( not the moving) but watching our little ones blossom and change with LOVE ! It is amazing, I AGREE.
Kathy
I LOVED reading this post, & you are absolutely right…you can totally see Hailee changing! How amazing & wonderful!!! So glad you are almost home.
Welcome to Virginia!
Hailee is blossoming right before your eyes. This experience has to be so empowering to see this little life coming into her own. There definitely is a change in her photos, can’t wait to hear more on how her progress develops. So incredibly inspiring!
My daughter came home from working at Trader Joe’s the other day with a nice story of a family who adopted a sibling group from I think she said Africa. We later saw them walking thru Colonial Williamsburg together and what a great looking family they are. They are currently in the process of adopting 2 more from a location close to where the sibling group came from.
Hopefully you will be able to get settled quickly in your home.
Teri
Thanks for sharing the blessings, Adeye! What a great read to start the day with…such joy! Hopefully someday you’ll be able to post some video of that sweet giggling for all of us to hear! Happy Memorial Day to your family and quick/safe ride to your new home today. God Bless!
Such great news, Adeye!!! Hailee looks so good now!!! You are in VA??? It is all I can do to keep from jumping in the car and heading north for a couple of hours.
Lisa
Oh my goodness! Praise God! Hailee is transforming before our eyes. She does not look like the same little girl in the orphanage. After all of your excitement your dad is going to run for the hills OR decide to move here! Which do you think?! Sheri
Just so wonderful to see how Hailie is doing! She looks so beautiful and healthy. I love reading about your family and I am amazed that you have time to update during a move. You are supermom!! Praying for your move to go smoothly and everyone to adjust.
Blessings,
Melanie
Welcome home to VA! I also live in Virginia. I don’t know where you will be but I’m in the uppermost northern tip between WVA and MD. I’m so glad your trip went well. I hope being trapped in a car together for sooo long helped to meld everyone together more firmly as a family. The pictures of those sweet girls are a testament to love and good care. Both girls are so beautiful and my heart is so happy to see Hailey grow in trust. God is good. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest. Every moment You know where I am. Psalm 139:3
The most perfect and wonderful post to read first thing this morning!!! Hailee looks amazing in that photo. I can’t wait to see more and more!!!!
Perhaps your crazy cross country move within two weeks of being home with the girls was part of the plan for creating less drama in the car seat…not a choice..has to be in it, might as well make the best of it!
Thanks for sharing. My heart is so happy seeing her and hearing from you!
Oh my word…she looks amazing! Her face has such beautiful color and her eyes have life! I went back and looked at one of her old pics to get the full effect. Such a gorgeous little girl!!
Well good morning - and congratulations as our journey ends - should be tonight that you’ll be in your home!
If we’d have known you were in Lexington we’d have driven down and treated you guys to dinner somewhere - but perhaps another time!
Great joy for you guys
hugs - aus and co.
Oh, my goodness, friend, I see huge changes just in the photo! Your darling is blossoming, just as you knew she would. I hope you get settled quickly and the Lord continues to amaze you as only He can!!!
I can SEE the transformation in Hailee! PTL!
Glad you all have made it to Virginia! I pray the settling in comes quickly so you can get to your new normal!
Hugs!
Tammy
What wonderful news! I teared up as I read each accomplishment she has made. Thank you for sharing these first triumphs with us - even in the midst of your marathon!
And you’re right. I see a difference in her in that picture too. I see life coming into those eyes!
Praise be to God!
I am new here and have fallen in love with your precious children. I am a college student at the moment but have a heart for orphans and want to adopt through Reece’s Rainbow one day as well.
I wasnt able to find how old Harper is. I havent had the time to go back that far. Can someone answer me this question here in the comment section??
Greetings from Germany!!
Oh My!!! Hailee is just BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE everything about her physical being! Her hair IS really growing, but I’m really struck by the COLOR in her skin! SO different from the pale little orphan you met a few months ago! Oh, Adeye…I have never felt so moved in my Life!! I just LOVE the Healing Power of Gods Love for His Kids!! I know that HE Loves ALL of your Precious children, but it is SO Awesome to be able to actually SEE His Healing Touch in your little daughters!! PLEASE, PLEASE…IF you have a “free” moment and can capture that new “giggle” on video, would you share it with ALL of her “Fans”???!!! *No Pressure Here* ; )
I am also so relieved to hear that you are almost HOME! YAY!! Freedom from vehicles!
Keep on feeding that Girl! She is truly a Miracle! Love.Love.Love You ALL!! ~ JO
Wow! Those truly are HUGE steps your little princess is making! Our oldest daughter has DS and it took us 5 years for her to be able to eat! Sometimes progress takes SO much longer than I thought, and other times, like the times you are describing, growth seemingly happens overnight. Know that your family is in our prayers as we share the love our our beautiful and special girls. Our daughter Braelynn was born to us and she is 8 years old now. We have certainly had our share of hard times, both physically and emotionally with her, but the Lord is faithful! Your 2 newest daughters are truly blessed to come live in your home where they can be enveloped in not only the love of parents, but 5 wonderful siblings as well. Siblings play such a beautiful part in the lives of kids with special needs, and vice versa! Keep blogging, I love to hear it all.
A friend and Momma of special kids too.
Oh, my the difference is evident in the picture! Imagine the leaps she’ll take when life is a bit more settleds!
I am so happy to hear how Hailee is progressing. She is SO beautiful and, you are right, she has changed remarkably already. What a blessing. I am so excited to watch her continually bloom into her full potential.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That picture is a testament to God’s faithfulness and love. She is stunning. I can hardly believe that is the same angel you brought home such a short time ago.
Thank you for taking time out of your busy trip to share your news with us all. I totally empathise with having a screamer in the car seat…my daughter hated sitting in her car seat!
What great news to hear about Hailee’s improvements. It is so encouraging to hear how the Lord is working in her life and how He is encouraging you too. I loved seeing their cute little hands and feet and what a blessing for you to have the helping hands of your eldest daughter.
I pray for quick and happy settling into your home in VA.
Hugs,
Rachel
The change in little Hailee that I can see is amazing! She looks so much healthier already! I went back and looked at some of the picture from right before you left the Ukraine and you can see how much her hair has grown! It truly is amazing what love and nourishment will do for a child. I am grateful that she is growing in leaps and bounds already! I’m so glad you told us about how she is laughing! That is just incredible! I pray that she will continue to do amazing and that in no time, she will be the healthy, beautiful 5 year old princess she is.
And I love hearing that Harper is doing so well too!
I started reading your blog just before your trip to bring your precious babes home. What an adventure…reading your blog makes me tired…as in you are one busy lady!!! But man what a blessing it is to read your blog. I love meeting your girls. I am so blessed seeing how love is giving them a new life. They are beautiful..they are perfect. Blessings on your new home! Can’t wait to read more!
Blessings, Malissa
wow, you have such patience! God bless you for rescuing these precious gifts from God!
Heather from Canada
thinking of you all!
so glad to hear Hailee’s making progress, she looks SO much better already! Just beautiful…..
Jodi
Oh Adeye,
What a blessing it is to see Hailee and Harper blossom in your family. Your photos showing their sweet faces are an amazing documentation of God’s healing power and loving grace.
May God bless you as you finally arrive home and get your sweet family settled.
Much Love,
Kathie
Oh, how my heart sings to hear of Hailee’s “small” victories! That’s how it seems to me….she was held captive, but has now been freed by the One who frees the captives and allowed to become a conqueror! Hailee is a picture of every one of us, unable to help ourselves or even to ask for help but for His grace.
People may have forgotten her for those years, but God never had His eyes off her, and in His time he brought YOU to open the prison door. Thank you so much for making your journey public so that those of us that don’t personally know you can pray and rejoice with you!!
What a faith-builder for all of us.
Wonderful post, brought tears to my eyes, but happy tears - happy that your two angels are blossoming and have a future thanks to you and your family.
So sweet.
Welcome back to the East Coast by the way. I live in NH, worked near Colorado Springs for a couple summers too.
Thank you so much for sharing the HOPE that you have seen for Hailee. Beautiful! Rejoicing with you!!!
So glad that you are nearly to your destination … your new family home … a place to raise your new babies …
Hoping and Praying that your family will take some time to REST … to just BE together … to let the Lord bathe you in His rest and peace …
Hugs, Prayers, & Blessings to you and your precious family!!!
Laurel
What joy it brings to my heart to hear such a good report! We are praying. I knew what a grueling trip you were in for and I’m so glad you have finally made it. Will continue to pray for a smooth transition as you all settle in.
What an amazing transformation - in just weeks. Praise God that ya’ll rescued her and Harper. Amazing what a little nutrition can do and most of all, laughing and loving! Safe travels and may you be home soon! Can’t wait to hear about your trip and more about the girls. The Rockies DO miss you!
My heart is singing! She is beautiful! I can see the changes too, even the look in her eyes is peaceful, not lost!
Praising God with you for His love for Hailee!
I am crying and rejoicing with you!!! We serve an amazing God don’t we? I will continue praying for deliverance and restoration for your girls!! Hailee looks amazing in that picture, almost like a different child! Praise God!!! Keep on sharing pictures and updates as you are able. I get so excited when I see an update of your girls!
Traci
We looked at her picture and said “Wow - she has changed so much!”
That is so exciting to see how she is changing - there is so much hope for her (and Harper).
Thank you for loving them.
Michelle
Oh my word, tears are streaming down my face reading this post…Hailee is on my mind every day, we pray for your family every day. If you get a chance I would love to see a little video clip of Hailee laughing…you are blessed.
Thank you for sharing!
“I doubt Adeye has…wow she did!” I was so glad I popped over just to check! I was so excited about Hailee’s progress I was sharing it with my husband. We are praising God for how amazing He is! We’re so happy for Hailee, her photo shows life in her beautiful eyes. God is good. All the time!!
*Tammy (RR)
I feel so happy and excited after reading you today! Hailee’s progress is amazing!!! Like you said it God is working on her!! The fact she is eating solids, and smiling is breath taking to me! God is good with you and your family!
Big Hugs!!
Caroline.
I’m so thrilled with all of this awesome news! I knew she was in there! You just had to find her and pull her out!
Praise God! He is awesome! I’m so happy to hear the wonderful progress! It is such a joy to read your blog and hear about all the amazing blessings!
It’s fantastic to hear about Hailee’s progress! That’s pretty amazing! Especially her eating progress! The picture of her shows the change too. She’s present in her eyes, she’s really there, whereas before she was kind of absent, hidden inside. And I just love the colour of her eyes along with her other pale colours. So cute
I hope the moving in will be smooth and that you’ll be greeted by friends from before, to help with carrying and sharing laughs and hugs!
Oh my goodness… the look in her eyes says “little girl lost NO MORE!” Her little light is starting to shine… amazing. God Bless You All. You definitely saved that sweet baby’s life.
Oh, I am so emotional today! LOVE the great reports!! I know God is doing something awesome in that girl. Little by little, your patience is paying off! Praise His Name!!
I forgot to say that it’s beyond wonderful that Hailee laughs! That’s such a gift! It must be the sweetest sound to help carrying you through the darker moments!
How beautifully exciting!! Her progress is surprisingly quick considering her past. I am so thankful for this good news! I know that prayers allow the powers of heaven to come down and work among us. I will keep praying.
Can’t wait to hear about the next big milestones.
Travel safe! Can’t wait to hear all about your settling into your new home!
REJOICING at this joyous news! PRAISE GOD! They are both going to continue to blossom and flourish!:)
my sweet friend, I have been checking in here but haven’t left any messages lately, we have had a lot on our plates lately too.
I love the picture of sweet Hailee, oh how much she has changed in a short time, she just looks healthier! We have been thinking of you all and praying as you travel knowing you have so much on your plate. Can’t wait to here you have made it!Send me your new address, I have a couple of things to send your way.
Blessings,
gayly
I’m guessing you must be at your new home now-what a journey!! Praising God for all the amazing breakthroughs for sweet Hailee-I could even see more life in her face from a photo a week or so ago. I think we can never underestimate just what a difference a family and love can make. Thank you for continuing to share even in the midst of such busyness:-)
MY HEAVENLY STARS! She looks like A NEW GIRL in that picture-I can see God’s change right in that sweet face! I wish I were closer to give her a kis sand you a hug friend!
just reading this post made me smile and cry at the same time! Praise God!! Hailee looks AWESOME!!! The love of a family and some nutrition do wonders!! I love reading your blog every day, it keeps me hoping and praying for a day such as this of my own to bring an angel home!! God Bless!
Anne
Colorado Springs
Adeye what wonderful news and what a beautiful picture of Hailee!!!!! An amazing transformation in such a short space of time! I must admit I am constantly watching my “side bar” for a new RSS feed from you, and cannot wait for each instalment. I have been mentally trying to visualise how on earth you move home (let alone state!) with so many kids and heck 2 dogs to boot! I am totally in awe of what the Lord has done through you and Anthony!! Looking forward to hearing that you have had a good night’s sleep at some stage? And are settled and happy in your Virginia home. Love m
I have been following but too busy to comment. I am so thankful you are near your home!
I see your dear daughters and my heart is joyful. I can see subtle changes in Hailee and big changes in Harper just through your pics! It is so glorious and it is all God!!
You are a beautiful servant of the Lord and an inspiration to everyone!!
she is so beautiful:) great post.Oh and we live in West Virginia!:)
Praise God! Amazing things can happen when children experience God’s love for them through a loving family. I can’t wait to hear more of Hailee’s transformation!
If you are ever in Ohio…please stop by. We would love to meet all of you and your beautiful children. I would love to get Yana together with them. Plus, Lisa Peele and her girls live just about an hour from us!! Hailee looks AMAZING!!!!
You know, even when she was at the orphanage, I always thought that Hailee did look older than Harper -somehow more ‘aware’ of what’s going on. Sure, Harper is SMART for her age and is clearly into everything, but Hailee seems to make great eye contact and just to be watching everything that’s going on all the time.
I think now you’ve given her the opportunity to experience the world for herself and develop, she’ll surprise us all with how quickly she catches up, at least in some areas.
Thanks for taking time again to update us. I am amazed at the power of God’s transforming love in Hailee. She looks like a different girl- and she is! She now knows she is loved and secure and it changes everything!
Continuing to pray for you and your family and thankful that His presence goes before you and surrounds you.
Love and hugs and prayers,
Debi
Thank GOD these girls found your family!!!!!
Sooooo wonderful! She is just a gorgeous little doll!
Oh hallelujah! Adeye, my mom and sis and I were all talking about this post today, and are just SO rejoicing with you on Hailee’s beautiful progress! Please hug and kiss her for us all! (hug and kiss every single little one for us.) Never forget that someone in Colorado loves you and thinks about you and prays for you all the time. I so look forward to hearing back from my email when you catch you breath! God bless. Miss you.
Praise God!! He is so faithful through all our trials!! Thank you for sharing some “Hope” with us!! He’s so good!!
Adeye-When I met you in Ukraine I just knew you were and incredible woman! As I read your blog I rejoice not because of sweet Hailee’s struggles but because there is another mom (you) going through many of the same things I am with my daughter. And just when times have hit the darkest or most frustrating I read a new post in your blog and it gives me such inspiration to try again and to ask our God for forgiveness for my lack of patience. Thank you Adeye. God had a reason for us meeting in Kiev and for your help in getting my little ones settled in to our apartment there:)
So glad you arrived safe and sound. You are one amazing family!
Rejoicing with you over all the ways that Hailee is blossoming now that she is part of your family. The picture of her is so adorable and you can tell right away how much better she is doing. Right off, I noticed that the sore on her forehead was almost healed. Thank-you for sharing your sweet girls with us and for allowing us to follow along on this journey. Blessings to you and all of your family as you move into your new home.
Barbara
What a powerful testimony Adeye! I am celebrating these amazing victories with you!!! Thank you precious Jesus!!!!
Love Jan
I am so pleased to read that your journey is almost complete and that it hasnt been too bad! And what fantastic news about Hailee must be such a joy to see her change infront of you! She is developing so fast - just amazing what love and security can do for little girl- how wonderful!
I know that she will continue to blossom. By the time you read this you will probably be in your house! I’ll be praying for a quick settling in period for all of you. Thinking of you always. All my love, Jo
Oh my, she is beautiful. Your love, your patience, your family are doing so much good to Haillee. As she learns to trust the world and your love, she will blossom to an amazing little girl who will suprise us all. That is Hope. Thank you for sharing.
Marie-Claude
It is such sweet music to hear of Hailee’s amazing progress in such a short period of time. Thank you, God!
-Lori
Oh Adeye, this post is just wonderful to read. I knew when little Hailee got home with her real family that she would just blossom.
Hailee and Harper are so lucky to have you as their FOREVER MOMMY!
I cannot wait to see just how much they both grow in the next year or more. It is going to be so amazing to hear and watch.
Thank you for writting this post. It is music to my eyes. LOL!!
Love,
Sheila
Hailee looks great! My, what that poor child has been through. It’s just hard to fathom. I wonder if part of the stress & anxiety that she was experiencing when you brought her home initally, was due to drug withdrawl. Not only had this child never seen the world outside of a crib, but she was also used to spending her days heavily medicated. I’m seen many pics on Reece’s Rainbow of children who appear to be in the same state. Heartbreaking. So great to know that Hailee & Harper have left that life behind!
thank you so much for sharing about Hailee, Adeye… when I looked at her picture, I was delighted to see a little girl with beautiful, searching eyes, and my mother commented to me that she seems to have a tan now… it is so wonderful to see
I hope you will continue to share with us her milestones… if you are Anthony are comfortable to do so… because I’m sure there’s a lot of us (myself included) who don’t really realise that there are some others like Hailee (who display institutional autism) are like this just because they are deprived of having a loving and caring family. Hailee’s road to healing will educate us about the power of love and inclusion in a family that we CAN offer (with the guidance and direction of our Saviour).
Thank you so much for sharing!
Praying that He will guide your family with creative ways to help Hailee that will cause learning enjoyable and desirable for her.
YES!!! Praise God for Sweet Hailee and the healing she is receiving from the love of your family. What joy this must bring to your heart!!! Thank you for taking th etime to update us. There you are in the middle of a CRAZY move and still finding time to fill us in. I will keep praying for peace in her heart and that she will accept her Momma’s love. And for Harper, too. Such beautiful girls. The love you are fulling them with is VERY apparent in the pictures. And it’s only been a few weeks! WOW! Can’t wait to see the change a few years of love will make!
Hoping you are already HOME when you read this!!!
Karrie
Let us be among the first to say welcome home!
And I’m moved to make just one other comment - the laughter of the innocent is so musical - a true joy to hear - and Blessings on those that hear it!
hugs - aus and co.
I have been following your journey for quite some time. Honestly, your story has turned things around for my inlaws and helped them to see why we brought our girls home!! If you are in Northern VA near DC, would love to get together once you are settled. God speed.
What a gorgeous pic of little hailee! We are excited that you are finally home and wishing you the best as you unpack and settle in.
Love,
Shauna
PS-We finally have warm weather here in CO. Hoorah!
TEARS, friend…they are flowing!
Praise God!
Wow, the difference in Hailee in just a few short weeks is so obvious. Amazing what just love and a family can do!
Home sweet home!!! I hope all of you are having a good rest…I mean at night. May all of you settle in nicely and enjoy the summer together. Hailee is looking so much better and her color looks really good. I’m glad that she is relaxing more, and maybe learning to trust you.
Incredible! Isn’t our Lord good????
Elizabeth
Our God is an AWESOME God and we get to see how loving and gracious He truly is as He works miracles with sweet Hailee!!!!!Praise Him!!!What amazing progress in such a short time!!
Hi Adeye. Still keeping up to date with your blog… No longer in floods of tears each time I read it though - I have calmed down… relieved since the girls are in your care! I couldn’t help but fall in love with them from the first time I caught up with their journey. Wow, we can see the difference already. Trust the move went well and that you and family settle quickly! Love and hugs. Mandz & Michael
WOW! PRAISE GOD whom all healing and love flows!
Greater things are yet to come - trusting for miracles that bless your socks off!
Love you and can’t wait to hear you are home settled in!
Jill
just beautiful..I can see a change in her as well just from the photos!
Praying you are in your new home and getting settled. Thank you for letting us know how things are going especially the changes in Hailee. Just looking at her picture says it all. What a miracle worker our God is. Looking forward to more news and an update on Harper. Hoping you are getting to rest up some now.
We just got home too although our road trip just took us 7 hours away and 7 back.
I am very behind…went 5 days without internet! (gasp)I am just so blessed by hearing what God is doing…how Hailee is blossoming. Can’t wait to see you all settled in and finding a new normal!
Hope to visit this summer!
love,
Holly
I looked at the picture of when you got Hailee in the Ukraine and the picture of her now. You’re so right, there is a difference that shows even in the still shot pictures.
Continued prayers for you all and hopefully you reach the new home today!
She is just absolutely beautiful!!! I love it that she is beginning to change so quickly and LAUGH!!! That is awesome!
Sweet, sweet Hailee. What love can do!!
Love,
Annerieke
PS: Can’t wait to see you all in your new home!
The difference already! Amazing! Absolutely amazing! We serve an awesome God.
