too beautiful not to share

The day that fake rose petals fell from the sky.

Anthony captured their sweetness on camera.

That extra chromosome makes them completely edible.

My heart overflows with thankfulness for these two treasures.

They are so absolutely worth every concern I have regarding weight and growth, every doctors appointment we take them to, every trial we face, every medical document I fill out for the hundredth time, every sleepless night, every cent of extra money we spend, every hour of research we do, every book we read, every cuddle, every love, every tear that needs to be dried, every diaper that needs to be changed…

They are SO worth it.

What did we ever do to deserve these whom the Father has blessed us with?

Counting my many blessings today.

There really are no words to express how your journey with these two darlings blesses me. In each new picture, you can just see so much of God’s heart & love in them.

P.S. Their hair looks like silk!

Amen Adeye! I love my two girls with the extra chromosomes as well!

I drove past your exit at 7:23am so I’m guessing it was a good thing we didn’t arrange for an early morning vist! :) Glad the birthday celebrations went well for your 6 and 8 year old (you’re posting too fast for me to comment on each individual post btw) ha ha

I’m on my computer SO little now that school is back in swing. Just taking a much needed break to check my favorite blogs, though. :)

Have a great rest of the week!
    Love, Kristin

All I can say to that is AMEN!

What have any of us done to deserve a single breath? Nothing!

What have any of us done to deserve the gift to see? Nothing!

There is a pattern in this life and getting it is the greatest gift.

It is called GRACE - God doing it!

You simply said yes to receiving His grace and blessings! There is no greater love than this!

    I love you Adeye!

I absolutely adore the last photo where they are both looking up to the Heavens as if to say “THANK YOU!”. And I don’t know HOW you get anything done with those sweet little necks just begging to be snuggled into all day!

Oh my goodness what beautiful girls they are. What a blessing to have you as her mom.

Yes, I love all my kids, but my child w/DS brings out extra joy in special ways. Love that.

What those girls need - and Anthony I’m sure will be happy to help out here - is a serious case of ‘whiskers’ right up on the cheek! I can hear the giggles and squeals from here!

And you asked a question that I can honestly answer - “What did we ever do to deserve these whom the Father has blessed us with?” That’s an easy one - you ansered His call - that’s all that any of use need do….

Great joy with you guys - and hugs - aus and co.

Oh my GOODNESS!!…thanks for the eye-candy in these shots…too sweet for words! They are just two beautiful and blossoming little flowers of their own! :)

Adeye, can I just say how much I love you?! Seriously, as a sister-in-Christ, you just bless my heart with the example that you set as a mother and wife. The love you have for our Father radiate through you in every way. You are so real, so down-to-earth, so crazy busy…yet somehow still so sane and focused and His light absolutely SHINES through you and your precious family. I feel completely blessed EVERY time I visit! Sending BIG hugs your way. Give those Sweeties a big ol’ hug for me and kiss those cheakers!! ;) It’s amazing how good they look just being HOME and LOVED like the princesses they are! I can’t believe the change from those first photos of your time in their homeland. God is GOOD!! <><

    Blessings and Hugs,
