blossoming, bath-loving, beauties

Who, once upon a time, hated the bath.

How things have changed.

These days, we cannot get them out.

Bath time is so much fun.

Can’t you tell?

Oh, the joy they bring us.

There truly are no words to describe it.  Right, Einstein?

They make me smile from ear to ear.

Aren’t they just completely edible?

God knew, before the beginning of time, that these two needed to be together. He knew that they would need each other.  Every day we’re seeing that more and more.  Watching their relationship blossom is a beautiful thing.

I wanted to bring your attention to two families who so urgently need our help to bring their children home.  These families are in a major time crunch, and need funds urgently-like yesterday.  Please hop on over to their blogs, read their stories, and prayerfully consider helping out.
Remember the iPad giveaway for Julia?  The Applin family won it.  Well, they are using it for a fundraiser they are having for their own adoption of two precious little angels from Russia.  Their adoption has been long and crazy, but there is light at the end of the tunnel for them.  They still need an enormous amount of money though. There is still time to chip-in for the iPad. The drawing will be tomorrow.  Please consider helping out.
The Dziagwa family are leaving for Eastern Europe in just 9 days.  Oh my goodness, friends, they are still short a crazy amount of money.  Nothing for the Lord, right?  They have some pretty fabulous fundraisers happening.  Please pray about playing a part in the rescue of their two daughters who have special needs.  They desperately need medical attention.

I appreciate your help so much, and I know they do too.

~~~~~~~~
That’s it for now.
Yikes, I almost forgot to tell you.  Hailee’s eye surgery went fabulously well.  If it was successful (60% chance), we should start seeing a difference pretty soon.  If not, she will have to have surgery again.  Obviously we’re praying it worked.  If it did, it will change her life.  No more strabismus.
Yipeeeeee….it’s Friday.  Major house cleaning on the cards for the weekend.  Nothing too yipeeeeee about that.  Time to clean closets and sort out winter clothes.  I love my little historic row house.  I really do.  But oh my word-what did people do for storage in 1900?
Oh, that’s right, they only had two dresses-one to wash and one to wear.  How times have changed. We have way too much stuff!
    What precious photos! They just crack me up, and to think they hated the water a few months ago. I’m so glad to see Hailee’s hair growing…but, ummm…mom…an Einstein do? So funny!!
    What fun pictures of the bathing beauties. I love to see my kids in any body of water and remember back to those first screaming baths when they feared the water.
    Yes these two little girls needed each other! How funny how God continued to work in your hearts for Harper! Hope everything went well with the eye surgery. Also please let me know if you need help with Celiac (gluten) I have it and it is easy to adapt and the family all eats healthier! It will all work out fine! Thank you for always sharing!
    Absolutely Adorable!
    It is so amazing to realize that these are the same girls we saw pictures of just 5 months ago. They didn’t have a spark in their eyes … they didn’t have a giggle on their lips … they didn’t have any idea of what it meant to love and be loved.
    God has done an AMAZING work in the lives of these little ones. I’m sure that their testimony has touched more lives than you can even imagine.
    Thank you … for hearing and obeying, when the Lord told you to bring these little ones home. And, thank you for sharing your story / their story through your blog. It has touched my life, and the lives of many of my Big Kids who also read your blog.
    Be BLESSED! (and don’t have too much fun cleaning house this weekend.)
    :) :) :)
    Oh Adeye! I was reading your post and scrolling down and the pictures were so cute and then I got to the second picture of Hailee and broke into a huge grin!!! I hope when Autumn heads to Ukraine to pick up Yuri and Bohdi, she can take that picture with her because those orphanage workers would be STUNNED.
    Those pictures made me tear up! Pregnancy hormones? Maybe. Realizing the tremendous change in those pretty little girls? Most definitely! It continually amazes me what the Lord does with LOVE for these precious little ones that He sends His people to bring home and love. Thank you for sharing your girls with us blogger people!
    I’m been following your blog for a while… don’t usually comment, just a lurker. But, you’re daughters’ story, your story, the story of your family… has blessed me in so many ways.
    Those two girls are precious, just beautiful beyond words. I remember seeing their faces back six months ago and I’m not sure I would have believed how far they would come so quickly. God is simply amazing!
    Thank you for sharing… God Bless.
    Oh my Adeye!! Those precious girls of yours make me smile from ear to ear! The thought that they could have stayed in their hell on earth, is just too much to bear! How they have grown and thrived and blossomed with your love! How great is our God!!!
    Adeye, I found your blog from a link on Sandi’s blog. You have blessed my heart tremendously. I love seeing the joy you and your family have together. I need to take some more time and read your adoption stories. We adopted two teenage girls from Ukraine last year, and though it has been a difficult transition, the Lord has been faithful!
    Blessings to you from Colorado,
    Debbie
