the little angel that COULD

I think I can.

I think I can.

I think I can.

I KNOW I CAN.

Behold…

The stair climber!

Learning, growing, discovering, conquering…

and climbing to new heights every single day!

Hailee, we’re so proud to be your parents!

Keep climbing, honey.  Keep climbing.

There is NOTHING that you cannot do!

Thank you for reminding Daddy and I every day that we too need to keep climbing-and never give up.

Because with God…ALL things are possible.

It is such a privilege to watch her grow and thrive in your family! Thank you for sharing those moments with us. God loves her so much! He must be cheering louder than anyone!

    Yea, for Hailee!

I just have to tell you … I’ve been thinking about your family a LOT this past week … since we found out I am pregnant.

I am 49 years old. The chance of having a child with Downs is pretty high. And … you know what … I am totally okay with that. (Not something I could have said with my last pregnancies; I know I would have been a bit fearful of it.)

While I certainly pray for a “healthy” child; I KNOW that God is in control; and that He will give us whatever we need in order to parent the child He chooses to bless us with.

Thanks for being such an encouragement!

    Laurel :)

Such a determined sweet thing! Our days of sitting on the blanket at the park are now officially OVER!!! We’re going to have to hire the older kids to run after the littles so we can actually visit! :):):)

Go girlie! Woo-hoo! I just read a devotional about how many of get tripped up just looking at the mountains we must climb in life. Then I see sweet little Hailee climbing her own mountain setting an example for the rest of us.

I am loving reading back through the months. What a transformation! What a beautiful little blessing your girls are, all your children.
I had a 2 year old foster daughter for 8 months who has Down’s Syndrome. It was so eye opening to the treasure and potential that the world so often overlooks. Your family is a testament to God’s faithfulness and restorative grace.
