every child

Deserves the loving arms of a mommy to hold them tight when they’re feeling sick. Every single child!

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
John 14:18

Our sweet Hailee is feeling nasty.  My heart breaks for her.  There is absolutely nothing I can do for her, but pray.  I am longing for the day I can finally take them out of that place. Longing with all my heart to be full-time mommy to these angels.

Trusting in the ONE who knows what’s best.

Oh NO, poor peanut! I am so glad you are there! I often wonder about the babes in orphanges when I am up at night with a sick child, and wish I could hold and comfort them, too. :(
    Get better, pretty Hailee!

Oh Hailee, I am so sorry. You look rough sweetie! Praying that your mommys arms are the healing you need!

Yana had a nasty cold when I left her. It was SO hard. I just wanted to hold her all day… I worried about her all night.

Adeye, I have been following your journey for a long while. I admire your faith. As an adoptive mom, I know the feelings you are experiencing being alone in a foreign country. I did it three times but for much shorter stays. The experience will in your heart forever but will become a distant memory as your children make new and wonderful memories as part of your family. With many prayers and wishes, Adrienne P.S. My oldest is 21 today and I got her at 3.5 weeks old!

Oh yes Adéye, there’s indeed something you can do for her! You CAN love her and hold her, give her comfort and strength, and a reason to fight this sickness! That you can do, and I’m sure you do. That’s the most important for Hailee. I’m sure it helps her more then anything else.

Aw, poor little chick! :o( I hope she gets better fast! I am at a women’s conference this weekend in Louisville, KY and this morning we sang…”Savior, He can move the mountains” and I was brought to tears by that line just thinking of the mountains He has been moving for your family and the other families adopting right now!!! It is awesome! :o) I hope and pray that it won’t take many more mountains before you can bring your girls home!

Thank goodness you were there for your sweet girl. She definitely needs her Momma’s arms!

Praying you are feeling better soon, Haillee!!

It would be so nice to have Hailee at home, so you could give her tylenol and a little vicks to rub on her chest. I noticed in yesterdays photos that her eyelashes looked like there was dried “goop” on them. I LOVE to be able to see her in your arms! That must be so foreign to her. I hope she’s feeling better soon!
Praise Him…for allowing You to be there to cuddle her. I think of you and the babies around 100 times a day and say a Prayer for all of you each time. Take care, my Friend. Hugs ~ Jo

Poor baby girl! Glad you can be there to comfort her a bit…but I know you wish you could whisk them out of there, get them home, and love on them and give them just what they need to thrive. You gals are in my prayers every day!

I know. Nothing breaks my heart more than knowing that there are orphans out there with no one to hold them when they are sick. That’s a really beautiful picture. These two have a mommy now.

I prayed for Hailee as I looked at the picture of her in …is it your arms…

I prayed for God to heal her physically.
For healing for her soul, for the emotional hurts, abandonment and the lack of love she has felt over the past 5 years. That is already starting to happen as she is showered with your love!
I prayed for her mommy (you!) as she waits for all the legalities to be over so she can take her babies back to their home.

Hope today is special and blessed for you all.

    Hugs xx
