we think that she is…

Absolute perfection!

Even in the morning.

Grow, hair, grow!

~~~~~
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your love poured out in such an amazing way today.  There are no words.
Truly.
So very thankful.
    I can only laugh this hard at that picture because our 2 year old (Kate) looks a lot like her in the morning and most of the day :). Her very blond, very thin hair has a mind of it’s own.
    Your children are all gorgeous and your blog touches my heart each and every time I read it. Thank you from Wisconsin!
    That is some of the best bed head I have ever seen! Love Love Love! And keep being the voice for the [temporarily] voiceless…talking is probably just down the road the rate Ms. Hailee is growing :-)
    LOL Oh my gosh, she can so rock that look. My hair looks like that in the morning but I totally can NOT pull it off like this young beauty can. She is perfect, you are so right.
    What a gorgeous “do!” Mine looks alot like that in the mornings, too. Thank goodness for detangling spray - it makes me and my 4yo much happier when we have to tame our nests but we like to snicker about our wildness first. Too cute!
    Please never stop sharing these beauties with us. I don’t understand people and am so sorry for whatever was said. Hailee is perfect just the way she is. She was fearfully and wonderfully made!
    Oh Adeye, I LOVE this picture!! Actually, I love this child too. hehe If you ever get tired of her, just send her to Iowa. :) Praying for your family! You are a blessing!
    I didn’t get to read your last post until now and I have to say that I am so sorry that you got any negative comments. I don’t understand it, that video brought tears of happiness to my eyes and my 2 yr old laughed out loud watching it. And just for the record even though you’re not perfect I like you anyway and I don’t even know you! Also, todays picture is a riot, I love it:)
    She is such an angel. I enjoy reading your blog so much as me and my family embark on the international adoption journey! I recently found this article and immediately thought of you and your two beautiful DS angels.
    This is so much like my Jack’s hair in the morning. Sometimes I just shake my head and think what are you doing in your sleep. But he is a wild man so that probably explains a lot. She’s precious, every bit.
    Love finds a way,
    Renee
    You are amazing. Do you want some pajamas and toddler girl clothing for your little princesses?
    If so, give me some size ranges and I might have some in storage. I can think of no sweet girls that I would rather send some too.
    I understand if you want to be confidential when it comes to your family.
    However did Hailee acquire such an adorable bedhead? She looks so happy and healthy and full of life! The persons that left bad comments clearly have to look deep into their hearts and rethink their values as Haileee is clearly absolutely precious, in every way. Thanks for keeping up the blog so that those of us that admire Hailee from afar can continue to watch her grow and become happy and healthy.
    That photo makes me laugh and smile - how cute she is. I only wish I looked that adorable in the morning, or anytime for that matter :-)
    Of course she is perfect, every child is! I loved this photo; her hair has grown a lot already. Tell us more about her; does she speak? Does she still have those “behaviors” she had when you met her? How’s her heart condition? I wonder if sometimes you would like to return to Ukraine with Hailee and Harper and tell the people in the orphanage “See… this is what LOVE can do! This is what a child needs!” I know I would looove to tell them that (and more)
  14. says
    Oh yea! She has the confidence to pull the look off!!
    Audrey has the same look going this morning! She added a headband though! She THINKS she is going to preschool in her “fluffy” dress-up skirt, pink t-shirt and lovely pink headband. But mom, it matches! I’m all pink! ummm yea!
    Hailee always makes me smile and this photo made me laugh aloud. I’m sorry I missed the video you posted as I imagine it would have made me laugh until I cried. Your children are all so beautiful and have such clear, knowing eyes. Please keep sharing them as your photos and thoughts make my days. Thank you.
    Hailee is so very precious! Every time I see pictures of her, I am filled with joy that the Lord rescued her and gave her to your family.
    What a sweetheart!
    I just read you last post…I can’t even believe that some one would be so cruel to your children!!! Keep being a voice..because of you and Anthony, many children are finding their mommy and daddy…
    The battle belongs to the LORD, but you KEEP ON FIGHTING for those babies!!!
    Oh my word, she is so cute I just want to eat her up! Your family is our daily inspiration Adeye. If our world consisted of more wonderful people like you, it would not be such a sorry mess.
  19. says
    hahaha! i can’t even tell you how much i needed to laugh today, and your angel has blessed me so! she is perfect!!! love you, sweet sister!
  20. says
    She is PRECIOUS.
    And yes, absolute perfection to be sure. It is a MINORITY that is thinking/saying mean things, yet somehow they are often the loudest. (Why is that? I’ve often wondered.) God bless your sweet family!
    I think she’s perfect too! My cousin had a little girl this summer who has an extra special chromosome just like your girls…and she is the sweetest little gift we’ve ever been given! God doesn’t make mistakes!! Thanks for blogging!:)
    Hailee and Carolyn have the same hair dresser - I am sure of it! I love it when you post pictures of your angels!!! They FILL my heart and remind me why we are going back to get more lovies from “the place” they will never return to!
    The truth you share on your blog has been an encouragement and challenge to me many times. Your family is absolutely beautiful- very blessed to have parents who love them with God’s love. Keep protecting, keep advocating. Love never fails.
    What a difference from her pictures almost a year ago! She’s is absolutely perfect! Thank you for your willingness to share with us. I feel honored. With love from Texas!
    Adeye - I am sorry to hear that some were saying derogatory things about your children. I appreciated the chance to see Haley laughing. I have been thrilled to see Harper and Hayley change so much since they have come home. My special favorites are Hayley and Haven. Loved the video where Haven said mama. Too bad you cannot filter and have an open blog. Waiting for your post on Hayley. :)
    You dont know me, but I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you and your family through your blog. I know I dont REALLY know you but I love reading your blog everyday. I love watching all of your children bloom and hearing stories of how wonderful they are. All of your children are true blessings from God and I just wanted you to hear that from another person. I know, you hear it all the time, cause its true. Thanks for opening your heart and your life in such a vulnerable way so that others can see what God can do for us and through us if we just let him. Blessings to you all!
    adeye, you could always make your blog private and come to know inquirers a little before you approve them. afterall, i wouldn’t pray with a nonbeliever or someone i didn’t trust or someone not of mutual faith in christ. i desire that you protect your heart. even though i have never met you, i can read your tone through your writing, and i can see that it is causing you unneccessary pain. perhaps you should consider.
    God bless you. you & Anthony’s willingness to radical faith and your abandonment to the upward call has really helped changed me and my husband.
    we want to adopt 2 toddler boy siblings some day.
    blessings, sister. jill in myrtle beach, SC
