Four and a half years later.
I give you…
…THE HAILEE PONYTAIL!
For the first time since coming home, little Miss is NOT pulling her hair out!
We have longer, oh-so-pretty hair.
She thinks she’s pretty smart.
And so do we.
We rejoice over the big miracles.
But the littler things make us giddy too.
Neck chub an added bonus.
He truly does make all things new (and amazing!).
What a sweetheart!

Yay, Hailee! You look beautiful, honey!
That really is something!! Congratulations Hailee. Hailee is really a beautiful little girl, that contract with her blonde hair and dark eyes is so striking. thanks for sharing!!
First time commenter here. She’s beautiful as is her hair. my daughter, almost eight, pulled her hair out from the time she was two years old until she was almost five. She sucked her right thumb and pulled the hair out of the left side of her head. She has 5p- syndrome (aka Cri du Chat) and we worried and fretted and stressed over the hair pulling so, so much. When we stopped making it an issue, she stopped doing it. She stopped sucking her thumb at the same time she stopped pulling out her hair. Her hair is now almost to her waist.
all this to say, I understand your joy at this seemingly small thing.
I have read your blog off and on for years. Life has been crazy this year and it has been awhile I can’t believe how much she has changed! She is adorable! Praying for you as you begin your latest journey with the embryo adoption.
