a wonderful way to help!

Recently my friend, Jen, asked me whether she could host an online Trades of Hope party to benefit our new ministry, Sindisa. If you haven’t heard about Trades of Hope yet, they are incredible! Every sale benefits women around the globe who are using their gifts and abilities to support their families, get out of poverty, and even get an education. I love that! I love that by purchasing something from Trades of Hope, I get to be a blessing to a woman just like me who is trying to provide for herself and her family. I am confident that my God will meet our every need (because He promises it in His Word!)…but the fact that we get to help someone else too…well, that is just amazing.

For the next ten days, all profits that Jen personally makes will be donated to Sindisa. Goodness, we are so, so grateful!

Details for the Trades of Hope online party are below. Would you prayerfully consider supporting us, and a precious woman somewhere else in the world in this way, please? We would be so very grateful.

Hi! I am Jen, Jesus lover, wife to my highschool sweetheart Bill, mom to 8, homeschooler, reader, simplicity seeker, on a quest to to empower women around the world and leave a legacy. Working as a Compassionate Entrepreneur with Trades of Hope is one of the avenues I am using to leave a legacy. Through my work with Trades of Hope I am educating others on the importance of fair trade and the need for sustainable business so others can have opportunities to help themselves out of poverty.

Trades of Hope was founded in 2010 by two mother/daughter teams wanting to do more for women all around the globe. Using the home party model our founders Gretchen Huijskens & Holly Wehde, along with their daughters Elisabeth Huijskens & Chelsie Antos launched Trades of Hope to empower women out of poverty through the sale of our artisans handmade jewelry, fashion, & home decor. Currently we partner with 21 artisans groups in 12 countries including Uganda, Kenya, & the Unites States. Our artisans are making 100% of their asking prices for their items which is 4-6x what they would make in their natural economy.

Through partnering with Trades of Hope our artisans have been able to provide food, shelter, education, & healthcare for their families. Our artisans are being helped out of the sex trade, sweatshops, and are keeping their children out of orphanages. These women and families are being given more than just opportunities. They are being given hope & dignity.

I am also honored to be using my passion as a Compassionate Entrepreneur with Trades of Hope to benefit the Salem family. I invite you to join me in supporting the Salem family as God leads them through this next journey in their lives as they follow God’s calling to move to Africa with their children to open Sindisa, a home for hope and healing.

On April 1st through April 10th I will be hosting a Facebook event to benefit the Salem family as they plan their move to Africa to open Sindisa. I will be donating 100% of my commission made from the event to Salem family. To join the event on facebook follow the link HERE.

Not only will your purchase through Trades of Hope help support Adéye and her family with their move to Africa to open Sindisa but you will also be empowering women out of poverty all over the globe. Join me and leave your own leagacy. You can shop from now until April 10th at https://mytradesofhope.com/parties/10892.
